Medical Assessment
& Resources
Men, women, and children who live on the streets face a variety of unique challenges, which are often directly linked to health or have an effect on their health. Since access to medical services, medicines, and mental health care can be limited, it is not uncommon for homeless people to be in poor health.

The unique challenges that face this population regarding their health can include:
-
Drug and Alcohol Addiction
-
Mental Health
-
Respiratory Infections
-
Chronic Reoccurring Health Issues
-
Access to prescriptions

We work to connect our clients to resources & programs in our community that get them the services they need to improve their physical and mental health!
What many homeless need more of is good medical care, health education and prevention, and access to treatment and medications and we advocate for this on their behalf!
